  4. In accordance with legislation, Council used 2022-year valuations provided by the NSW Valuer General to calculate its rating from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026. While Council provides this data for convenience, it does not guarantee its accuracy, and Council accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions. You can access your land values online via the NSW Valuer General's website. It is recommended to use your 1 July 2025 land values for this calculator.
  5. Any variation in land value will result in a change to the rates.

Finding your rating category and land value

Both appear on the front page of your most recent rates notice.

  1. Rating category — listed on the first line of the Particulars of Rates & Charges section, for example “Residential” or “Business”. Select the matching category in the calculator.
  2. Land value — shown in the Rateable Value box near the top right. This is the unimproved land value determined by the NSW Valuer General; it does not include your house or other improvements.
